Glaive, it's long enough and it has faster swings. Normal glaive, looks great, is strong most importantly it swings fast. With a strong horse with some proper armor you can charge into the bowmen of your foe and slash your way through The long glaive is waaay to slow and probably only good if you want to fight cavalry.Go into it with the pretense of Hal having finally snapped, hiring a hit man to kill his entire family, then conniving his way into witness protection to keep him safe from the killer he hired. (both weapons are nearly perfect, no need for smithing!) a long glaive + first "basic" staff is a good/best combination. you have to change the sliders (long/short) till you are content. The Long Glaive is a good alternative though the damage is nowhere near this absurd. 5 Bow - Noble Bow Pierce. ... My love for the long glaive is a lot about the feeling but i didn't try a lot of weapons actually. What I like about the Long Glaive: Good damage and range to be able to "harass" in close combat the ennemy cavalry without risking to die. To clarify, I don't really like Couch Lances because you run a lot of risks as you need speed to deal damage.

If you find something better, it would be nice to know. Schematic: 2h polearm. Head: Long glaive head, scaled to minimum (less damage but slightly faster: Warrazor Head1) Guard: Eastern double spear wings, scaled to maximum. Shaft: Decorated long pine shaft, scaled to your preferance. Pommel: Has no effect, pick whatever you want.

Because both are generally infantry weapons, not designed for cavalry charges which a lance specifically is. I'd suggest you be prepared for a lot of "nerfs" like this as the devs go through and make things more varied and unique and less copy/paste jobs. I present Jaydent of dey Solter (A.K.A: Jaydent the Green Knight / Jaydent the Storm)So, a Shield, Spear, 1h Sword and Javelins is a decent combo. (Can last the whole game, too, if you wish.)
