There was a nasty clunk when I went over some bumps at low speeds. I opened the trunk, spare compartment was tight, but the trunk spring was not clipped in place. You could tap the pedal 100 times going in reverse and it will clunk each time. My local Honda dealer is telling me this is normal. Note: some CRVs also present a clunking sound from time to time when backing up after starting. That is the brake pads shifting, and is also nothing to worry about.
