But, if colleges were deciding between two candidates and one of them has a 1500 and the other has a 1600, they will choose the latter. I think you should retake if your score is 1550 or below. I believe that the 25% of scores is a 1410. A lot of T20 schools are very vague with their application standards. Honestly if you are within the 25%-75% there is no reason why they should not consider you and at that point it becomes a total flip of the coin.I want to get into UT Austin and I'm wondering if I should retake the exam for a higher score.
